Fretted instrument setups include: String change, instrument cleaning, fretboard conditioning, fret polishing, setting action intonation & truss rod, and cleaning electrical contacts & controls.
I also provide electric guitar pickup installation and custom wiring overhauls. If you can dream it, we can do it.
Basic tube amplifier maintenance includes: testing of tubes, re-tensioning of tube sockets, careful cleaning of all contacts and controls, and replacement/upgrade of old filter capacitors as necessary. I perform custom modifications on Fender, Marshall, Ampeg, Gibson, etc. I am able to reduce the background noise level in old amps considerably, and backdate silver faceplate Fender amps to higher performance black faceplate specs.
I am also a supplier for top quality USA made Weber Speakers and amplifier kits. Kits can be personally and expertly assembled in my shop and custom tailored to your preferences.
